Former ABBL CEO Serge de Cillia joins the advisory board of private equity firm Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital.

Luxembourg-based private equity firm Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital announces the addition of Serge de Cillia to its advisory board. An advisory board is a group of people from outside a company who advise the organisation and provide it with opinions.

The former CEO of the Luxembourg Banking Association (ABBL) has worked in the banking sector for over 35 years. A graduate in economics, he began his banking career in 1986 at Banque Générale du Luxembourg. He joined the ABBL in 2000 and was appointed to head it from 2014 to 2020. He has also represented the financial sector as a board member of the Commission de surveillance du secteur financier (CSSF), the Conseil économique et social (CES), the Fonds de garantie des dépôts Luxembourg (FGDL) and the Fonds de compensation (FDC). Between 2014 and 2019, he was a member of the executive committee of the European Banking Federation, the Luxembourg business union (UEL), the Haut Comité de la place financière (HCPF) and Luxembourg for Finance (LFF). He is currently a member of the supervisory board of the Fondation de Luxembourg.

He joins Jessica Holzbach, Tom Loesch and Klaus Ulrich on the advisory board of Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital.
