Mudam has long been a weekend brunch destination. With Pure’s takeover of the museum’s café, the meal has been given a new twist and is 100% plant-based. Three formulas are available at weekends and on public holidays. The vegetarian option combines English muffin with avocado, egg, tomato, onion, salad, mushroom, and muesli, waffle and fruit (€27). The third option is the salmon muffin, with smoked salmon, egg, salad, coleslaw, muesli, waffle and fruit. Each package comes with a hot and a cold drink.

Two dining rooms and a nice little terrace await customers at this charming village café that opened in Diekirch under the direction of Zita Poulsen, a former Danish architect who moved to Luxembourg almost 20 years ago. Her cuisine is gluten-free, seasonal and uses local produce. And what’s more, the breads and cakes are all homemade. The brunches are tasty, fruity, healthy and balanced. Three versions are available: classic (€21.50), vegan (€16.50) and vegetarian (€18.50). A wide choice of pancakes is also available.

The Librairie Diderich bookshop in Esch-sur-Alzette has installed a café in its shop. Brunch is served every Saturday and includes fresh fruit juice, delicious pastries, granola, pancakes as well as various kinds of savoury bread and bagels. A brunch menu is available for €25 for adults and €10 for children. And what could be more pleasant before or after your meal than to stroll between the shelves to discover the latest literary novels, board games and stationery.

Just across the border, Hotel Van der Valk Luxembourg-Arlon offers an all-you-can-eat buffet on the first floor of the hotel.
