State Street has announced the appointment of Riccardo Lamanna as head of products for State Street Bank International. Lamanna will retain his Luxembourg country head responsibilities.

has been appointed head of products for State Street Bank International (SSBI), State Street Corporation announced in a press release on 20 June 2024. Lamanna, who is currently Luxembourg country head, will retain his responsibilities in the grand duchy. In his new role, he’ll help lead the firm’s efforts in aligning the governance and development of products delivered by SSBI to its clients and will assume responsibility of the depositary bank function across SSBI.

“I am excited to contribute to SSBI’s growth path by tailoring our products to our clients needs,” Lamanna said in the firm’s communiqué. “Luxembourg’s highly advanced ecosystem for investment services and depositary bank has provided me with insights into the latest sector trends and technological developments which I am looking forward to leverage  in my new role across continental Europe. While the Luxembourg market will remain a priority, I am looking forwarded to also deliver SSBI’s strategic product-related objectives for Europe, covering the Benelux and DACH region as well as France, Italy, and Poland.”

Lamanna joined State Street in 2010. Prior to that, he held positions at Intesa Sanpaolo in Milan, at Banca IMI  (the investment bank of Sanpaolo IMI) and at Paribas Paris. He started his career at JP Morgan in 1991, working in Milan and London.
