Shops on 24 June have begun their period of "good deals", which will last until 23 July.

While retailers drew a disappointing balance sheet from the winter sales, it remains to be seen whether inflation will have an aggravating effect, as households' wallets are already heavily affected by price rises. Consumers could, however, also take advantage of the opportunity to buy their clothes for a more advantageous price.

As a reminder, the sales, unlike other promotions, are the only period of the year when shops are allowed to sell at a loss.

The summer sales will last until 23 July. In France, they will end on 19 July. Belgian residents will have to wait until the beginning of July for the sales and Germans until the end of July.
