In one of his first major decisions since being appointed the new CEO of Talkwalker, Tod Nielsen, has endorsed the acquirement of Reviewbox.

"This announcement confirms our commitment to remaining the number one consumer intelligence platform," said Talkwalker's new CEO, Tod Nielsen of the takeover of Reviewbox. "Reviews give you an understanding of just what your customers think of your products, whether that's good or bad. This integration gives you a real-time view of this data, enabling you to react, and also helping you shape your products for the future. This continues the growth of our customer intelligence capabilities, to offer brands further insights into all aspects of the customer buying journey. Enabling them to make faster, more intelligent business decisions."

Founded exactly five years ago in Tennessee, enables wholesale merchants to help retail merchants by answering questions about their products, for customers to have their opinions taken into account and start a conversation that is always valuable in nurturing engagement with a brand, and for merchants to conduct competitive intelligence in terms of price and reputation. The company has already won over major companies such as Delta, Avery, Whirlpool and Netgear.

Reviewbox CEO James Horey, who, along with all his staff, will join Talkwalker as part of the deal, said that the two companies were a perfect fit. "Over the past five years, Reviewbox's unified analytics platform has supplied customers with top of the line industry review data, providing an essential part of the customer intelligence puzzle. Our integration into Talkwalker completes this puzzle, enabling our clients to turn insights into real-time actions,” Horey said.
