You could almost pass by without seeing it, but that would be a pity: as you go up the route d’Esch from Hollerich towards the centre of Luxembourg, The Backyard is located in a superb courtyard with trees, at the end of a long corridor which almost gives it a "speakeasy" feel... This new and unique place, adjoining the Foundry coworking space, is the latest venue to be opened by Manu Da Costa--known for the Kyosk in the central park in Kirchberg--in partnership with the Brasserie Simon and Rosport.
The space is furnished by a variety of tables and seats, in the sun or in the shade of the large trees and in a vintage atmosphere, where you can sit down alone or with others, enjoy the moment, organise a small meeting in the cool of the day or enjoy an organic soda, a Simon beer or one of the wines (most of them organic) selected in collaboration with Vinoteca.
The food menu is still being finalised and will evolve, but the facilities are already there, so it is possible to organise a small Bring-Your-Own-Food barbecue with friends if the owner agrees to it....
But whether you come for one thing or another, the common theme of The Backyard remains nature and tranquillity, especially in a rather residential surrounding area. DJ TED will mix during the official public opening night, organised this Friday 22 July, from 5 to 10 pm ...

Finally, it is also possible to rent indoor spaces, notably the beautiful room on the ground floor opening onto the terrace through large glass doors, thus benefiting from a very pleasant indoor/outdoor atmosphere for a meeting or a small event... A multi-purpose place, and one can only really feel the calmness when settling in. You just have to do it!
