So far no date has been set for the increase in capacity at the Frisange Park+Ride facility, which is one of the gateways to the grand duchy from France.

Good news for French cross-border commuters: plans are underway to almost triple the capacity of the Frisange P+R facility from 260 to 750 spaces.

This is what the minister for transport and public works, (déi Gréng), said in an answer to a parliamentary question from MP (DP).

The minister did not specify the date of the expansion of the facility in Frisange, which is one of the gateways to Luxembourg, just a few metres from the French border. On the French side of the frontier, the municipality of Roussy-le-Village already has a P+R facility with 250 spaces.

Recently, the minister also presented public transport in Luxembourg to Roussy-le-Village on bus line 323.

Since 2018, Bausch has been working on additional parking to relieve traffic congestion on the country's main roads, in favour of public transport.
