In June, ATOZ will celebrate its 18th anniversary; an opportunity for the firm to showcase its strategy, its key achievements, and its growth areas for the years to come.

ATOZ was founded in 2004 by experts wishing to embark on an entrepreneurial adventure. Their ambition? To be an independent tax advisory firm, a leader in the market. A choice that paid off as, from the very beginning, client appetite was evident. Since, the firm continued to grow, despite times of market crisis. These periods have, in fact, allowed ATOZ to reinvent itself. The entrepreneurial spirit taking the lead, the partners didn’t hesitate to create sister companies in order to meet the ever-evolving needs of their clients.

Diversifying in response to client needs

The group offers a range of services in tax, corporate administration and regulatory obligations. All began with ATOZ Tax Advisers in 2004, which has since further developed to offer corporate finance services as well as aviation finance solutions through ATOZ Aviation Finance. Moreover, ATOZ continued to develop its tax-related services, recently beginning to offer services in the tax litigation field. In 2012, LTCO was founded, with the aim of providing assistance in tax compliance. In 2018, LTCO became ATOZ Services, offering a full range of expertise dedicated to corporate and management services for Luxembourg companies. In 2021, ATOZ Services continued its evolution by welcoming a number of new partners - Nicolas Cuisset, Jérémie Schaeffer et Gaël Toutain joined the team to strengthen the corporate offering with their expert knowledge in the structuring and management of alternative investment funds, while Christophe Darche develops the Transfer Pricing service offering, a tax obligation for any company in Luxembourg.

We’re not afraid to invest when we identify interesting projects and we remain attentive to the market.

In response to the need for digital solutions to facilitate tax matters, as expressed by clients, ATOZ Solutions was created in 2020 with a team dedicated to the development of IT software and tools relating to ATOZ’ core business, such as their application, which identifies transactions that could be susceptible to reporting under the DAC6 Directive.

Finally, ATOZ Administration regroups all administrative services carried out for each of the group’s different subsidiaries, allowing for the operational teams to focus on their day-to-day and, most importantly, their clients. These “support” services include HR and marketing as well as the finance, logistics and IT departments.

An international gateway

ATOZ is one of the founding members of the network. Created in 2005, Taxand boasts more than 2,500 collaborators across 50 countries specialised in offering tax advice to companies of all sizes. An expertise enabling ATOZ to meet the key needs of its international clients.

A strategy based on integration...

These different entities allow ATOZ to offer a wide range of services responding to their clients’ needs, based on their individual profiles, projects and evolution. At each step, there is a solution. ATOZ’ ambition is to support its clients from A to Z thanks to a complete, expert suite of services that can be offered either individually or as a bundle. ATOZ’ strategy is based on a strong “partner-led” model, rarely still seen in the market today. In this model, the partners remain at the heart of the client relationship and continue to work for and with them throughout the entire lifecycle.

We always aim to keep our leading role in terms of expertise, all while gaining new compentencies.

…but also on its human capital

Despite its obvious growth, the firm, which now boasts approximately 250 members, continues to base its business model on human capital. From a human resources point of view, the group is proud to showcase its employees’ technical expertise – essential for the management of complex client files. With 18 partners, 10 principals, 25 directors and approximately 200 members, ATOZ intends to continue on its course, with the aim of continuously optimising client relationships. ATOZ is certified Best Workplaces Luxembourg since 2013, a label awarded by its staff via a survey conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute. For ATOZ, the well-being of its employees is essential. Therefore, the company ensures, amongst others, recognition at work and continuous up-skilling through a large selection of trainings. ATOZ members have autonomy and are encouraged to be innovative and bring new ideas to the table, all while benefiting from the experience and expert knowledge of their colleagues.
