Find out more about the BPF at the information event organised on 20 April at the Chamber of Commerce, which will focus on Senegal, a priority partner country of Luxembourg Cooperation. One of the winners of previous editions will detail their experience in supporting digitisation in Senegal to improve access to services for citizens. This will be followed by a presentation of partnership and commercial opportunities in Senegal, notably through the intervention of the businesswoman , followed by a networking cocktail.
Initiate new partnerships: at the Chamber of Commerce
A new between European companies and actors from developing countries (companies, administrations or NGOs) has been set up to facilitate the creation of partnerships. You can now register and present your organisation. You can also use this platform to register for the event on 20 April. Can't make it but want to participate? Calendar of the 2022 edition
In 2022, the BPF is launching two calls for projects: one with a closing date in May and a second one with a submission date in October.
The first call for projects 2022 is now. You have until 29 May to submit your Successful applicants will be notified at the beginning of July and will have until 20 October to submit their detailed proposal with a business plan. Luxembourg companies that wish to do so can be assisted by in the preparation of their proposal. The final selection will take place in December 2022.
You also have the possibility to submit your application until 20 October and thus participate in the second selection of the year. The process remains the same. Successful applicants from the second selection will be notified in December and will have until March 2023 to submit their detailed proposal.
In addition to contributing to the achievement of SDGs, the innovative character of the project, the partnership set-up and the added value of the BPF co-financing will be taken into account in the project selection. Interested companies must also demonstrate that they integrate respect for human rights and social, environmental and good governance standards into their strategy and briefly present their project.
Who can apply?
The BPF is open to any type of Luxembourg or European private company, regardless of its sector of activity, meeting the following minimum eligibility requirements: three years of existence, average annual turnover of 500,000 € or three times above the total amount of the proposed project over the last three financial years, five employees. BPF co-financing is part of the so-called "de minimis" aid.
