The government, employer and employee groups are set to meet for tripartite talks on Thursday. Delano’s Cordula Schnuer and Ara City Radio’s Tom Clarke on Monday looked at the history of three-party talks in Luxembourg and what’s up for discussion this week.

Speaking during Ara City Radio’s Top of the Week feature with Delano, Cordula and Tom discussed the outcome of last week’s , which aim to agree on measures to help households and businesses shoulder the burden of high energy prices, and why this system of social dialogue is also known as the Luxembourg model.

To kick off the week, Cordula and Tom also talked about some upcoming events, including a concert by , a fundraiser in support of Ukraine and the opening of a new at Mudam.

Finally, Cordula’s book tip of the week is Intimacies by Katie Kitamura. The character-driven examination of a translator’s life at the court in The Hague. The unnamed narrator finds herself questioning the ethics of her job, her friendships, her relationship with a married man and her search for a place called home
