Michel Molitor and Olivier de Jamblinne de Meux have been appointed as independent directors of Delen Private Bank Luxembourg. The board of directors now consists of nine members.

Delen Private Bank Luxembourg announced the appointment of two new independent directors to its board: and Olivier de Jamblinne de Meux.

They are described as “two directors with local roots, in-depth knowledge of the grand-ducal financial market and long experience in the fields of private banking and financial transactions” by Philippe Havaux, CEO of the bank.

Molitor is managing partner of Molitor avocats, a law firm which employs 40 people. He has extensive experience in advising financial institutions--banks and fund management companies--on regulatory compliance, financial transactions and dispute resolution.

De Jamblinne de Meux has over 30 years of experience as a banker in Luxembourg. He has held several management positions in the private banking sector, in particular as a member of the executive committee of KBL epb SA, managing director of Puilaetco Dewaay Luxembourg SA and director of Quintet Europe Private Bank (Luxembourg) SA. His areas of expertise range from private banking, asset management and global markets to wealth planning and structuring.

The board of directors now has nine members: chairman Jan Suykens, directors Jacques Delen, Alexandre Delen, Michel Buysschaert, Piet Dejonghe and Eric Lechien, and Paul Wolff, an independent director.

Delen Private Bank, founded by the Delen family in Belgium, employs over 500 people in its home country and 51 in Luxembourg. It specialises in asset management and wealth management advice.
