Previously deputy secretary, Céline Niederkorn succeeds Miguel Ghzal as chair of the Association nationale des étudiants luxembourgeois en droit (Aneld). Charel Bollig is taking over as vice chair from Anne Weyland.

During the national association of Luxembourg law students (Aneld) annual general meeting, a new board of directors was elected for the 2024-2025 academic year. Its new chair is Céline Niederkorn, who was previously deputy secretary. She will be joined by Charel Bollig, who has been elected vice chairman. The other law students named to the steering committee: Matz Mossong (secretary), Jo Wildschutz (treasurer), Nina Schagen (deputy secretary) and Michel Letellier (deputy treasurer).

Alessia Di Bari, Maximilien Glaesener, Julie Favre Hoffeld, Harry Lamamra, Mara Micucci, Maxi Olinger, Lisa Schintgen and Claire Thull also sit on the board of directors.

Aneld said its board has already set itself two major objectives for 2024-2025: "to continue the association's progress and development" and "to support law students at every stage of their career".

Last year, the association organised the 4th Moot Court Competition, the final of which was held at the Superior Court of Justice; Aneld Career Day (a recruitment fair); and the Law Gala. Former chair Miguel Ghzal remains a director of Aneld.

Officially launched in 2005, it now involves more than 600 law students. It acts as a bridge between the student and professional communities.
