The LCGB, OGBL and NGL-SNEP unions will put pressure on management by organising a demonstration on 26 September, the day of the next aviation tripartite.

The , and unions have announced a demonstration on 26 September in front of the mobility and public works ministry to demand better working conditions and remuneration for employees.

The demonstration, which the unions hope will be substantial, will take place on the same day as and not on internal issues. A way to put pressure on the airline's management. "We have tried to find solutions with the management of Luxair but without success. The dialogue is difficult and without effect", says Paul De Araujo, LCGB trade union secretary. The same is true of the OGBL, where Michelle Cloos, central secretary, points out that last July "management did not want to talk about the issue of pay. On the question of workload, management mentioned the possibility of reviewing its organisation for next year. But it is now that staff are at the end of their tether and management has no solutions.

"Due to the health crisis where planes were grounded, we accepted a salary freeze and there was a reduction in staff. But today, the situation is different, the cargo department worked very well during this period and in the other segments of the company we see a return of demand and therefore a higher workload with less staff, all without the possibility of seeing an improvement in pay," explains the LCBG trade unionist who also does not hide the difficulty of being heard by the management.

The three unions have therefore announced which will leave from the Place du Glacis on Monday 26 September at 8.15am to arrive at the Place de l'Europe at around 8.45am, i.e. under the windows of the mobility ministry. The unions have also announced the provision of buses from the P+R Bouillon and the CargoCenter for the demonstrators.
