Just over six months since arriving in the grand duchy, the US ambassador to Luxembourg will feature on the cover of Delano’s next international supplement.

A keen reader of Delano and Paperjam, US ambassador to Luxembourg Tom Barrett visited the Maison Moderne newsrooms on Wednesday 31 August following an interview with Delano magazine editor-in-chief Natalie Gerhardstein.

“So this is where the magic happens,” Barrett said as he was introduced to the daily news office and Delano and Paperjam online editors-in-chief Duncan Roberts and Nicolas Leonard.

Gerhardstein interviewed the ambassador, who took up his post in February this year, for Delano’s international supplement, which will accompany the October edition of the magazine published on 16 September. In the interview Barrett discusses bilateral business and diplomatic ties between Luxembourg and the United States, as well as transatlantic relations between the US and the EU, the importance of Nato in light of geopolitical tensions and more.

Stay tuned for the issue, which will hit newsstands on 16 September.
