The health directorate has announced that the temporary vaccine centre at Luxexpo The Box will close on 5 March and the Limpertsberg centre will reopen on 8 March.

Some two months after it , vaccines will once again be administered at the Victor Hugo Hall as of 8 March.

The centre in Limpertsberg was supposed to reopen in February while facilities were temporarily moved to Luxexpo The Box in Kirchberg. But it took a little longer than anticipated to get the Victor Hugo Hall up and running again.

The health directorate has said that opening hours at the Victor Hugo centre will be the same as at the other national centres in Esch-Belval and Ettelbruck, that is from 7am to 7pm on weekdays and from 7am to 1pm on Saturdays.

The three national centres are accessible without an appointment for patients (including the 5 to 11 age group) getting their first vaccine does. But booster vaccinations are only being administered by appointment unless the patient (who must be a resident of citizen of Luxembourg) received their first vaccination dose abroad or at one of the mobile pop-up centres.

The national covid-19 website has a  at which no appointment is required.
