On 1 March, Vincent Beck will become the new CEO of Codic International following the retirement of Thierry Behiels.

This is a turning point in the history of the real estate development firm Codic: Thierry Behiels, the firm’s international CEO, is to retire. He has been with the company for 35 years and CEO for 25. On  1 March 2024, it will be time for him to retire. He will hand over the reins to Vincent Beck, currently managing director of Codic Luxembourg.

Beck, 44, holds a master’s degree from the Ecole des Ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris (EIVP) and a degree in private law from the Sorbonne (University of Paris I). He has been with Codic for almost 10 years. He will continue to be able to count on the expertise and support of Behiels, who will become senior advisor to Codic International at the request of the board of directors.

“I’ve had some exciting years with Codic, filled with wonderful encounters, successes, conquered territories, new footprints in the city and emblematic achievements, but it’s time to hand over the reins. In 25 years, despite the day-to-day challenges, I’ve had some thrilling years, always with the same passion and the same determination to see our missions through to the end,” stated Behiels. Vincent Doumier, chairman of of Codic International added: “Since its creation in 1970, Codic has only had three CEOs. The period led by Thierry Behiels will forever mark the history of our company, and we can only thank him for all his achievements.”

Codic is active in Belgium, its country of origin, Luxembourg, France, Hungary and Spain, in office, retail and residential projects. In Luxembourg, Codic’s projects include the Royal-Hamilius and Espace Monterey in the city centre and the K2 and Espace Kennedy buildings in Kirchberg. The firm currently developing the Caractères project in Hollerich and an ambitious mixed-use project at Cloche d’Or.
