Voting has closed for the 2023 Finance Awards, organised by Paperjam + Delano and Luxembourg for Finance.

The peer-to-peer voting phase of the 2023 Finance Awards have concluded.

The awards are a chance to give recognition to those in the finance industry who have continued to show excellence and outstanding expertise. The Finance Awards were launched by Paperjam + Delano in partnership with Luxembourg for Finance. The Financial Times is the exclusive international media partner.

Peer-to-peer voting

The 2023 Finance Awards celebrate finance professionals who have been recognised by their peers in eight categories: capital markets/leading M&A expert, fintech entrepreneur, private equity executive, ESG champion, funds personality, insurance personality, banking personality and visionary.

A total of 364 financial sector professionals, carefully selected by Paperjam + Delano, participated in the award’s “grand jury” and voted for peers within their own area of expertise.

Awards ceremony

Awardees will be recognised during a gala dinner on Tuesday 21 November, with former Paperjam and RTL journalist Nathalie Reuter serving as MC.

6pm: Networking reception.

7pm: Opening remarks from , CEO of Luxembourg for Finance.

7:05pm: Opening address by , currently finance minister (DP).

7:15pm: Keynote speech by Clara Durodié, CEO of Cognative Finance Group and author of “Edge of Progress: How AI is transforming financial services”. Durodié is a technology strategist specialising in applied artificial intelligence in financial services, with a focus on business profitability with ethical AI. She will speak about how financial firms can use AI to increase growth, not cut costs.

7:45pm: Seated dinner begins.

8:15pm: Awards presented for capital markets/leading M&A expert, fintech entrepreneur, private equity executive and ESG champion.

8:40pm: Seated dinner continues.

9:25pm: Awards presented for funds personality, insurance personality, banking personality and visionary.

9:50pm: Walking dessert and networking drinks.

The event takes place at the Casino 2000 in Mondorf-les-Bains, with the dinner menu created by Casino 2000 chef José Aravelo.

Around 500 financial sector executives are expected to attend the ceremony. A few tables are still available. .
