A bomb dating from the Second World War was found close to a tunnel in Burden, impacting train traffic, the national railway company CFL shared on 18 May.

Three months in Luxembourg City, a similar scenario unfolded close to Burden, at the north of Ettelbrück. The CFL posted a statement on the subject, stating that the bomb had been detected and authorities were on-site to assess the situation.

Traffic has been stopped on the train tracks between Ettelbrück and Göbelsmühle, though public transports users will be able to use substitute buses between both destinations.
