There’s plenty more Congés Annulés coming up. Next Wednesday, for example, it’s Jerome Klein’s Klein project.
Jerome Klein works on an array of contrasts in a minimalist setting, slipping into a misty mood of melancholy and dark tones. According to the blurb, his music “surprises with loud splinters of light and explosions of energy, and expresses the kind of frenetic ecstasy felt when musicians let their passion take over.”
The show is sold out, but there have been no-shows at some of the Congés Annulés concerts and a list for returns is being taken at the entrance to the festival site.
