The annual On Stéitsch festival promoting young talent takes place this Saturday.
Organised by the Service national de la Jeunesse, On Stéitsch (a play on the words “on stage”) has been promoting young artists from Luxembourg and the greater region since 2008. This year’s festival, which has the tagline “Net Ouni Meng Mask op den On Stéitsch” (not without my mask…) features two stages as well as workshops and an exhibition.
The festival line-up has always been eclectic and this year features performers including rapper Southboy, dancers and acrobats Aircrew and young singer Mafalda.
A second outdoor stage will host 10 performances from musicians including Arduinna’s Dawn and the Retrospective 4tet.
Our photo by Lucie von Lucilin shows the festival atmosphere in non-Covid times.
An exhibition at Rotondes 1 showcases photos, video, sound installations and drawings made by youngsters during confinement.
The festival will comply with strict hygiene and social distancing rules and is co-organised with the Cercle de Coopération des ONGD du Luxembourg and several youth organisations.
