A brand-new electronic music festival, Luxembourg Open Air, kicks off this Saturday.
Described as Luxembourg's answer to the ‘Tomorrowland’ festival, LOA’s line-up features 12 local and international acts including Mike Williams (photo) and Brooks from the Netherlands, Marnik and Danko from Italy and Lovra and Himmelfahrt from Germany. They will play 12 hours of deep house, dance and tech house.
The event is totally free and open to all ages. There will also be 10 food trucks, various drink ‘bars’ and a ‘chill out area’ with hammocks. As well as the music the CrossFit Bearcrawl team will be in action and tattoo and graffiti artists will be on site.
The festival’s environment-friendly credentials see the ban of single-use plastic and free public transport in the city centre for the day.
