Join the conversation on the green transition and its implications for businesses by examining key areas of taxonomy, environmental tax and energy.
The Journée de l'Economie is organised by the ministry of economy via the Luxembourg Competitiveness Observatory, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and industry representation body FEDIL.
This year, a special focus on green transition aims to bring businesses up to speed on approaching deadlines and ESG regulations that will have the most impact for its operations. In-depth discussions will answer questions regarding how to interpret the EU taxonomy, environmental sustainability measurement standards, taxation models and renewable energy as a catalyst for a sustainable green economy.
This edition of the conference also includes a panel debate on the specific impacts of the green transition for Luxembourg businesses. For example, John Parkhouse, CEO of PwC Luxembourg, will give a detailed account of the challenges encountered by PwC's sustainability transformation. Other renowned speakers from business, academia and politics are scheduled to intervene in discussions including Franz Fayot, minister of the economy.
The event is in English and French and will take place in morning sessions.
