For many on Easter Monday, there’s no better place to be than at one of the “Emaischen” markets.
There are two: one in the village of Nospelt, and one in the historic centre of Luxembourg City, behind the palace.
The star of the show is the “Péckvillercher”, the iconic clay bird whistles that have become collector’s items. Particularly in Nospelt, it’s easy to catch a glimpse of artisans working on their crafts in front of visitors.
The family-friendly markets also have food and drink available for sale.
