This lecture organised by the Confucius Institute aims to help people understand and manage the challenges of doing business between China and Europe.
The key speaker will be Jean-Pierre Coene who spent more than 30 years in International sales and marketing for the French Papermill Clairefontaine and created or developed sales in a variety of countries including the UK, Netherlands, US, Sweden, Denmark, Dubaï, and Egypt.
As a cross cultural consultant, he currently works as an associate partner at Hofstede Insights. He wrote “Négociation internationale. L'entretien de vente en B to B” and also co-authored the book “Negotiate like a local: 7 Mindsets to increase your success rate in international business”, available on Amazon and recently published in China by Fudan University Press in Shanghai.
Jean-Pierre will offer insights into the 7 mindsets and how they can be used as a practical tool to help you be more successful in international business but also how they apply to teaching even to politics. Particular focus will be placed on understanding & managing the challenges of doing business between China & Europe.
