With 48% of the country’s population deriving from abroad, the country’s cultural melting pot comes to the boil at this annual gathering of different associations.
Now in its thirty-seventh edition, the Festival des Migrations, des Cultures et de la Citoyenneté (photo of 2019 event by Pierre Cester) promises great food from around the world, music, dance, shopping and a chance to meet people you might never cross in daily life.
Organised by the Comité de liaison des associations d’étranger, Clae, this family-friendly event aims to nurture dialogue and understanding between cultures through a range of activities.
It’s open on Friday from 6pm to 1am, Saturday from 12 noon to 2m and Sunday from 12 noon to 8pm. Entry is free of charge.
