Delano has a pair of tickets to pass on to our readers for the New World Theatre Club’s production of “The Seagull” at the end of this month.
Director John Brigg says, “The Seagull” is "Chekhov’s first masterpiece". The latest production by New World Theatre Club features a sterling cast of familiar faces (like Jan Horsburgh and Gav Guilfoyle, pictured) from NWTC shows and some less familiar.
Brigg says the play is “underpinned with a subtle yet complex humanity. It is a comedy of frustrated lives, of lost opportunities and the clash between generations in which eachcharacter must face their own aspirations and disappointments."
