It’s not often we give away tickets to a French theatre production, but “Bigre” is a silent comedy accessible to audiences of any level of language skill.
Winner of a prestigious Molière award for best comedy in 2017, “Bigre” (photo Pascal Perennec) has been described as an “hilarious urban fresco that uses the absurd to examine our flaws, our pettiness, our disappointments and our hopes”.
The show centres on three neighbours in an apartment block, a fat man, a tall skinny guy and a luscious blonde. Potential romance is spurned at every opportunity as the three clowns allow disaster upon disaster to visit them. It all results in the sort of dizzying chaos that makes you laugh…because otherwise you’d cry.
To enter the draw to win a pair of tickets to the show on 17 or 18 December, enter our contest below.
