China‘s role in the space scene is becoming more dominant with visible milestones recorded as it became the third country to land a human into space and the second country to place its flag on the moon in 2020, with several other space station missions on the way.
The Confucius Institute will organise a free online lecture on the Chinese space programme on Friday 16 April to elucidate on the programmes ambitions, achievements and perspectives in the mid-term. The lecture will be delivered by Prof Michel Blanc, an Emeritus professor and planetary scientist working at the Institut de Recherche en Astrophysique et Planétologie, a joint laboratory of CNRS, CNES and Université de Toulouse, France.
Registration for the online event is required via [email protected] or +352 46 66 44 4964
