While the Covid-19 pandemic might have slowed global dealmaking in the short term, the outlook for the sector remains bright, especially as equity valuations skyrocket and investors look for longer-term diversification.
This first FOCUS ON event for 2021 delves into the largest sector within alternative investments. Edmund Truell, Co-Founder and former CEO of the Pension SuperFund, kicks us off on the topic of “Opening up PE to defined contribution pension funds.” He is followed by David Dana, Head of VC Investments at the European Investment Fund, who will shed some light on the EU’s PE and VC investments.
In our panel discussion that follows, Katia Panichi, Partner, Elvinger Hoss Prussen, Vanessa Camilleri, Conducting Officer and Head of Office, Partners Group Luxembourg, and Hedda Pahlson-Moller, Founder and CEO, Tiime, will provide their perspectives on "What to expect for 2021" from the PE space.
Following the panel discussion, Stephane Pesch, CEO, LPEA and Camille Thommes, Director General, ALFI will be interviewed by our CEO, Nicolas Mackel on "The view from the industry bodies".
