After 29 years the Oekofoire will be replaced by the Oekofestival.
The idea is bring people together, share interesting future-oriented ideas, set the stage for the start of the political year and much more. The Oekofestival takes place in the Oekozenter Pafendall as well as in the scenic neighbourhood of the City along the “Uelzecht” and “Park Odendahl”.
There will be a cabaret, discussion forums on current topics, such as on a basic income for all, or participative housing projects in Luxembourg. Music, poetry, art exhibitions and activities for children will provide the entertainment.

The Oekofestival will officially start on Friday September 22nd 2017 at 4.30pm with a speech by the Minister of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, François Bausch, and the president of the Mouvement Ecologique, Blanche Weber. There is no entry fee (except for the cabaret of Rolf Miller).
