This conference focusses on how to “Improve gender sensitivity in teaching with the Gender4Stem platform.”
Stem refers to science, technology, engineering and mathematics education, where girls and women are historically underrepresented.
The keynote speaker is Sophie Viger, managing director of 42, a tuition-free computer programming school with a peer-to-peer learning approach in Paris and Silicon Valley. Viger will speak on how 42 works “to attract more girls and women in their programmes.”
Other topics include a “Presentation of the Gender4Stem teaching assistant” and “Testimonials from teachers and experts involved in this Erasmus+ project share their insights during a panel.”
