American Luxembourg Society

The group’s main aim is to cultivate relations between Luxembourg and American people and to tighten the friendship between the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and 
the United States of America. Membership is open to anyone or any organisation, without any condition as to nationality or residence, upon request addressed to the committee.

American Women’s Club of Luxembourg

The AWCL is a non-profit, volunteer-run group serving women in Luxembourg and the surrounding region. All sorts of activities are offered and organised. The AWCL has its own clubhouse where members meet, socialise and offer language classes. The club also works to help the less fortunate in Luxembourg and around the world, so many philanthropic activities and events are part of their annual programme.

British Ladies Club

The BLC is a non-profit organisation for women who can speak any level of English within the international community, in and around Luxembourg. The club organises regular events and has an active schedule of activities for children. The club also raises funds for various good causes, usually from Great Britain and Luxembourg. Members can subscribe to a full membership or digital membership.

British Luxembourg Society

The BLS is a non-profit association which strives to deepen, maintain and develop the bonds of friendship that exist between the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and Great Britain. The association exists to establish and maintain good links with English speaking communities in Luxembourg, to assist with the development of English language skills, and to introduce them to British culture via evening classes, educational trips to the British Isles and social and cultural events.

Café des Langues

Members of the “language cafe” gather around a drink 
or a coffee to meet people, converse in their mother tongue or in a learned language and refresh or even improve their knowledge. Each table will accommodate maximum 5 to 6 people; 
a flag of the country where 
the language is spoken is used to indicate where to sit. No membership is needed, participants only pay what 
they consume at the meetings.

Democrats Abroad is the official Democratic Party arm for Americans living outside the US. The community strives to provide Americans living abroad a democratic voice in the US government and help elect democratic candidates by mobilising the overseas vote.

Irish Club of Luxembourg

The Irish Club of Luxembourg is a focal point for Irish activities in the grand duchy, involving both Irish people and friends of Ireland. The club organises a number of activities annually such as an annual St Patrick’s Day event, charity ball, ski trip and children’s Christmas Party.

Rotaract Luxembourg

Rotaract is a club sponsored 
by the Rotary Club for young people wishing to put their knowledge, time and skills 
in the service of society. In Luxembourg, members meet twice a month to discuss ideas and plan their projects and activities. The organisation has been involved in Luxembourg with Red Cross, Fondation Autisme, the refugee centre in Strassen, Relais pour la Vie (“relay race for life”, a cancer support group) and supporting charitable projects in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
