Applicants considering entering the programme must have a company not older than five years with a team of at least two people and have an innovative project concept, with a deadline of 15 April. Startups which are pre-selected will be notified on 26 April for a chance to compete with international entrepreneurs for grants of maximum €150,000, as well as 20 weeks’ coaching and access to helpful networks.

Now in its 11th edition, Fit 4 Start was launched six years ago by the economy ministry, managed by Luxinnovation with help from the Technoport and the Luxembourg-City Incubator, with the aim of helping innovative companies launch their businesses from the grand duchy.

The last edition took place in summer 2020 and saw 476 startups from 60 countries apply. Across all previous editions, 56 startups have graduated from the programme, with startups in the first nine editions having raised over €15.2m from private investors.
