Women in Digital Empowerment (Wide), founded in 2014, focuses on teaching, networking, developing technical skills and building confidence among women so they feel able to get more involved in Luxembourg’s digital sectors. One of their key annual events is to organise a Rails Girls coding workshop, using the Finnish initiative that was founded in 2010 and is also featured in the top 100.

It was joined in the list by the Luxembourg Digital Skills Bridge, a state-led initiative to help employees gain the digital and technological skills needed for future job roles.
