Luxembourg’s newest community is expanding as developers at Belval have announced plans to construct 550 new homes by 2027 Agora

According to Archiduc, the Agora development will accommodate up to 1,200 additional people in the neighbourhood located in the south of Luxembourg, on the border with France.

Completion of the first buildings is expected for 2020-2021 with a handful of family homes and flats organised around alleys and squares. The development will be located between Belvaux and Belval, close to the train station and not far from the Kannercampus, which will include a nursery, primary school, after-school activities centre, sports hall and adapted learning school, planned to open in 2020.

For older children, the Bel-Val secondary school is not far away. Further information about the sports centre is expected in the coming weeks. An official presentation of the area is expected at the home and living fair in the autumn.
