Anne Brasseur will put down her mandate
Anne Brasseur of the DP has stated that she will resign as MP on 31 January, according to RTL.
She is likely to be replaced by Frank Colabianchi, mayor of Bertrange.
Anne Brasseur first entered parliament in 1979, and became a minister in 1999-2004, where she was in charge of education, training and sport. In 2014, she was elected president of the Assembly of the Council of Europe.
