One person was reported injured when two armed men stormed into the Goeres luxury watch store on rue Philippe II late on Tuesday morning.
RTL reports that the two robbers wore masks and fired shots while in the boutique, which has a secure door entrance operated by personnel inside the premises.
The robbery occurred at around 11.30 on Tuesday morning. The two men fled in a black Renault bearing French licence plates, which was later found abandoned in Boulevard Charles Marx in Hollerich.
It is believed an accomplice was waiting for the robbers in another vehicle, a dark grey BMW 3 series estate car. Police called off their search for the robbers at around 1.45 p.m. according to the RTL report.
