Applications for the Luxembourg Cloud Awards are open until 14 May

The Luxembourg Cloud Awards launched in 2017, following on from the EuroCloud Luxembourg Awards, with the aim to “reward the creativity, originality and flexibility of service of offerings, the methods of transformation and migration to the cloud but also the overall quality and completeness of the applications.”

Cloud services operating in the Luxembourg market can submit applications until 14 May in two categories. The Cloud Innovation Project of the Year recognises a solutions-as-a-service business.

In the 2020 edition, Governance.com took home this prize, which was awarded during a digital ceremony hosted in September last year. The company delivers digital governance solutions tailored for the financial industry.

The second category, Cloud Tech Innovator of the Year, emphasises a new product or solution created using cloud resources.

The jury last year chose Hybree Cloud in this category, saying it offers “customised, reliable, license-free, user friendly, scalable and cost-efficient solutions.”

The 2021 winners will be revealed during an award ceremony on 1 July this year, which will be streamed for audiences.

The awards are organised by the Luxembourg chapter of Cloud Community Europe, created in 2009 to boost the grand duchy’s performance in cloud computing and similar domains. Cloud Community Europe is supported by industry federation Fedil. The awards are hosted in partnership with ITnation.
