The site is located near Boulevard Raiffeisen with Atenor looking to develop it into an urban office project. The developer specialises in offices, mixed and residential projects.

Atenor will file for planning permission early next year, the company said in a statement.

“The new Cloche d´Or district has seen unprecedented, quality growth since 2012 in terms of infrastructural and real estate developments, with several high-profile financial institutions recently setting up their headquarters here,” Atenor said.

It did not comment on the value of the transaction or budget for the project.

Other Atenor developments in Luxembourg include the Twist and Square 42 projects in Belval, Perspectiv’ in Esch-sur-Alzette and Buzz in Leudelange, among others.

The company manages projects in ten European countries, also including Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania and the UK.
