That’s according to the “LGBT Worldwide Workplace Index” released by Silver Swan Recruitment, a London-based firm that places “domestic staff for luxury properties worldwide”, on 26 June.

Rankings were based on LGBT rights, LGBT-specific employment laws, minimum and average wages, the overall unemployment rate, and the country’s LGBT placement in a gay friendliness index. The highest possible score in the Silver Swan study was 18 points.

24 out of the top 30 countries were in Europe.
