Now in its 10th edition, the competition aims to foster female entrepreneurship, and one business woman with an innovative concept will be selected to win an award of €10,000.

Interested female applicants are required to send in an online application, detailing candidate information, as well as information concerning the project, including an executive summary provided by the candidate. Other documentation (articles, photos, etc.) may also be submitted to provide context to the project.

Any woman who is a founder and/or manager of a Luxembourg-based SME or start-up can apply for the award. The criteria upon which the applicants will be judged includes the innovativeness of the project, its positive impact on Luxembourg’s economy, its potential, and so on.

The applicants will then be judged by a panel comprised of representatives from BIL and its partners on the competition (Technoport, Jonk Entrepreneuren, Paul Wurth InCub, Schiltz & Schiltz, Equilibre and Wide). In the next stage, the applicants will be required to present to the judges in a pitching session on 5 June, the same day the award will be presented.
