Any non-Luxembourg national who is resident in Luxembourg and aged 18 or above may stand in the advisory body’s elections, which take place on 8 July. Successful candidates will then be responsible for examining matters relating to foreign nationals in Luxembourg and their integration.

In total 22 representatives and 22 alternate representatives must be elected. Anyone interested in standing may register at the Luxembourg reception and integration office (Olai) by 30 June at the latest.

Votes will be cast by associations representing or working on behalf of foreign residents in Luxembourg, be they cultural or sports organisations.

To register, candidates should make a signed declaration including their surname, name, nationality, date of birth, address and occupation.Click here to download an application form.

Anyone wishing to stand should also attach a copy of their birth certificate, proof of their nationality and a criminal record check, which can be obtained from the palais de la justice.
