Founder and chairman Jean-Luc Mines and managing director Camille Groff have decided to sell their shares in Mikado Publicis and leave the company in the hands of a new generation. The pair announced their decision on Friday.

Mines founded Mikado in 1990 after spending six years at IP. Groff joined a few months later. They are ceding the reins of the company to long-time shareholder Claude Wagner.

“It is with a small tear in the eye that we will leave the communication field, and this job, which has given us so much during the last 30 years,” Mines and Groff said in a statement. “We wish plenty of success to the new momentum behind Mikado Publicis.”
