The LSAP politician, who is rumoured to be gunning for the post of Luxembourg’s next European commissioner, once Jean-Claude Juncker is no longer the European Commission president next November, was in relaxed mood on Tuesday evening.

He and his entourage stopped outside Rocas on rue des Bains to listen to a friendly rap battle. The venue had just held one of its regular Hip Hop Jam events to a sold-out room.

Schneider, dressed casually in white shirt, leather jacket, jeans and white sneakers, declined to take the mic himself (at around 1’20” in the video), saying “no, he does it better.” But later, at 2’20” Schneider does join in a chant with the small crowd that has gathered around the rappers.
