Chiche! was founded in 2017 on route d’Esch as an ephemeral project in a building in Hollerich which was expected to be destroyed.

Within two years and with the support of social sector actors Marianne Donven, Pitt Pirrotte, Frédérique Buck, Isabelle Dickes and Chadi Bedach, it has garnered a large following for its delicious falafels.

Our sister magazine Paperjam reported on Monday that Chiche! will reopen at 20 avenue Pasteur, taking over the premises from the Da Vinci pizzeria. The new 600m2 site has seating for up to 230 customers.

The management will expand the team to offer lunch take-away deals for students at the nearby high schools. It is expected to open on 15 October.
