Chiche! has unveiled plans to expand its chain of restaurants. The social enterprise opened its first restaurant in Luxembourg City in 2017 and a second in Esch-sur-Alzette in June 2020.

While the first two restaurants serve Syrian and Lebanese cuisine, the third location, planned for a single-family house near the Leudelange church and cultural center, will specialise in Japanese dishes.

First founded by Syrian chef Chadi Bekdach in Hollerich with the support of the Red Cross’ Marianne Donven, in 2019 it moved to Limpertsberg.

Donven was quoted in a recent interview with the Luxemburger Wort as saying that the third restaurant could be one of several.
