Charles Sandwiches, via Wedely, is one of numerous restaurants offering take-away and delivery services.
Our colleague Fabien Rodrigues at Paperjam has put together a list of restaurants that are maintaining take-away and delivery services.
While restaurants have had to close their front-of-house business in line with government policy to stop the spread of coronavirus, they are permitted to maintain a kitchen staff and delivery or take-away operations.
In his article for Paperjam, Fabien Rodrigues notes that delivery service Grouplunch, for instance, is continuing to operate “under strict measures to protect the health of you and our personnel”. WeDely has also introduced a “contactless drop-off service” whereby the delivery driver calls customers, so they can pick up their order from their front door.
Among the other restaurants offering take-out or delivery service, Paperjam lists:
Centser Roud Haus à Cents: delivering to Cents, Hamm, Clausen and Neudorf and open for take-away. Orders can be placed by phone at 2643 2501.
Joël Schaeffer in Mertert is doing menu du jour and a limited selection of dishes for pick up or delivery that can be reheated at home. Orders can be placed by phone at 2671 4080.
L’Opéra in Rollingergrund: has a special delivery menu and is even offering a chef at home service. Orders can be placed by phone at 2625 8607.
