Festivities will run from 21 November to 13 January and in addition to the new features, visitors can expect old favourites like the five Christmas markets (Place d’Armes, Place de la Constitution, Rue de Strasbourg, Grand Rue and Place Jan Palach), at which some 124 chalets will be located, ice skating from “Knuedler on Ice” in Place Guillaume II and spectacular light decorations.

Indeed, some 780 light sets are expected to be displayed in the centre, including 33 fir trees and 228 other trees decorated with 53 kilometres of garlands.

Family-friendly features include the Saint Nicolas parade on 1 December as well as the “Cirque du Lux” circus show, which will be resident on the Glacis car park from 29 November to 31 December. Other workshops and visits will be organised at various city museums.
