From ticket-free public transport to seeing Luxembourg’s mobility minister, François Bausch (déi gréng), out on his bike in the capital on Monday, this year Luxembourg went to town with headline-grabbing stunts for mobility week.

But it wasn’t all just for show. On Wednesday, the ministry rolled out a new-look mobility app, combining different modes of transport in the country and giving journey times based on actual traffic conditions and carbon footprint data. Will seeing how long it takes to travel three kilometres by private car be enough to encourage people to switch to other forms of transport? If public transport provides a workable alternative, perhaps yes.

And then there is always the bicycle. Each day this week Delano published an interview with a cyclist to show how diverse this community is and challenge some of the myths about cycling.

Here, we’ve pulled the interviews together to make a podcast--the perfect thing to listen to next time you’re stuck in bumper to bumper traffic jams.
