After three trivial, but pre-filled questions, the survey offers the comments, sometimes very personal, of other people contacted in the course of tracing a positive case at covid-19 Maison Moderne

According to colleagues at our sister publication Paperjam, when participants clicked on the link they found the questions already filled with data from other respondents.

Issued under the auspices of the Luxembourg department of health, the web address of the survey is managed by the state-run technology and IT centre.

In addition to gender and age range, it was possible to view testimonials. Among them were a comment in which one respondent said they were tested at Findel, and received a negative result. They later received an update to say that the results were false and they had tested positive. This message came after they had had contact with elderly family members.

There was also no limit on the number of times a person could complete the survey.

Contacted on Monday by Paperjam, by phone and by email and again on Tuesday, the health ministry did not comment. The survey remains online, unchanged.
